Unalaska police blotter: Houseplant abuse

Trespass - Officer issued a trespass advisement to a poorly potty-trained housemate who routinely voided in the homeowner's houseplants.

Welfare Check - Officers responded to a residence from which an odd phone call had been received and found one person awake, one asleep and two too inebriated to know what was happening. Officers determined there was no emergency.

Drunk Disturbance - Officers responding to a report that a group of about 20 people were itching for a fight at the Harbor View Bar found several intoxicated and ill-mannered patrons milling about. Officers determined that few crimes had been committed, and none which victims wished to pursue.

Traffic Crime - Complaint about a taxi driver's driving prowess. The taxi company was contacted and advised of the complaint.

Disorderly Conduct - A woman who was offended by the cousins with whom she was imbibing demonstrated the depth of her hurt feelings by breaking a window and kicking some doors, causing upwards of $3000 in damages.

Harassment - Officer spoke with two people who both had complaints about the callous and unnecessary things each had said to the other. The officer suggested staying away from one another and ignoring each other's inflammatory iterations.
