Man sought who failed to show for child porn sentencing

Anchorage detectives are looking for a man who didn't show up at his sentencing for a conviction on a child pornography charge, police said Tuesday.

William Riddles II was charged in April 2011 with possessing and distributing child pornography, then pleaded guilty to a single charge of possession in December, court records show.

Riddles was set for sentencing on Friday but didn't appear. A judge issued a warrant for Riddles' arrest, with requirements of $5,000 cash bail and a third-party custodian.

His family reported him as an endangered missing person also on Friday, police said. He was last seen driving a 1995 green Buick four-door sedan with an Alaska license plate: EUE 363.

Anchorage cyber-crimes detectives ask that anyone with information on Riddles' whereabouts call 786-8900.
