Tori Choi of the Arctic Gymnastics Center tied for first place on the uneven bars and earned fifth in the all-around earlier this month in the junior B division of Level 9 athletes at the Western Nationals in Boise, Idaho.

Choi was among three AGC gymnasts who competed. She scored a 9.60 on the bars and 37.550 in the all-around. That performance came after she won the Region 2 all-around last month in Oregon with a Level 9 personal best of 37.925.

In the Senior C section of Level 9 at Western Nationals, Tena Newhouse of AGC finished 13th on the bars (9.250) on the way to a 33rd-place finish in the all-around. At the Region 2 meet, she tied for 10th in the all-around.

And AGC's Celina Brown, competing in the Senior D division of Level 9 at Western Nationals, finished third in the vault (9.50) and 14th in the all-around (36.525). In Region 2, she tied for third on the balance beam (9.050) and took fourth in the all-around (36.600).
