The 2010 Votre Sante Pinot Noir is described as a Burgundy-style noir, and indeed, it heads down that trail. Produced by Francis Ford Coppola with a California appellation, there is vanilla, plenty of aroma and a good range of bright fruit like strawberry and blueberry. The mouth is heavier than the nose would let on and finishes up sweet and sappy. This is good weekday fare and will match a wide range of lighter meats, pork, chicken and salmon. Costs about $16.
