Man in critical condition after motorcycle crash near Wasilla

A Fairbanks man was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday after crashing his motorcycle in Wasilla, according to the Alaska State Troopers.

Allen Risner, 25, was driving north on Blue Lupine Drive near Vicki Way with a group of other motorcyclists at around 5:40 p.m. when his unregistered 2013 Harley Davidson left the road and went into a ditch near the bike path.

He was life-flighted to Providence Hospital with life-threatening injuries. As of late Sunday afternoon the hospital listed his condition as critical.

Risner was not wearing a helmet, according to a trooper dispatch.
