Salute Torch Run participants

On May 19, the Alaska Law Enforcement Torch Run was held around the state of Alaska and at West High School in Anchorage. I would like to thank all the men and women in the law enforcement community who donated their time and energy to raise funds for the Special Olympics athletes across the state of Alaska.

Officers from 13 communities across the state collected pledges and ran or walked to raised much-needed money to keep the Special Olympics operating and the athletes supplied with sports equipment and funds to keep their competitions alive. Thank you again for doing what you do to keep our communities safe and keep the Special Olympics torch burning.
