A 25-year-old Anchorage man was stabbed multiple times during a fight outside the Anchor Pub downtown early Saturday, police said.
The fight broke out about 2:40 a.m. in front of the Anchor, on West Fourth Avenue, police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker said in a written statement. Police officers found that Lalio Alo had been knifed, Parker said.
An ambulance rushed Alo to a hospital and officers arrested two other men: Devin Matthews and Rickey Hebert, both 23-year-old Anchorage residents, police said.
Matthews faces two counts of fourth-degree assault; Hebert faces one count of fourth-degree assault.
Parker said the person suspected of stabbing Alo has not been arrested.
Detectives are looking for a person or people who left when the fight started and then called police. They're also trying to track down the owner of a vehicle damaged in the fight. The vehicle's owner and any witnesses should call police at 786-8900.
