Eagles quarterback scores four TDs in the 48-13 win over Chugiak

West quarterback Conor Feckley threw three touchdown passes and ran for another Saturday at Anchorage Football Stadium, leading the Eagles to a 48-13 trouncing of Chugiak in a Cook Inlet Conference football game.

West (2-0 CIC, 2-1 overall) scored early and often, taking a 21-0 lead on a 9-yard touchdown run by Nathen Sailele in the second quarter. Chugiak (0-2, 0-3) cut it to 21-7 on David Mayhew's 64-yard touchdown pass to Matt Oldenkamp, but West answered with two more scores before halftime to lead 35-7.

Lincoln Tulimasealii, who led West with 130 yards on nine carries, ran for two short touchdowns, putting the Eagles up 14-0 on a 3-yard run in the first quarter and extending the lead to 28-7 on a 2-yard score in the second quarter. Sailele finished with 90 yards on 11 carries.

Feckley, who completed 14 of 24 passes for 207 yards, spread the aerial scoring opportunities around. He connected with Randall Wilson, Eric Vandervort and Tyrone Davis for touchdowns of 36, 7 and 24 yards, respectively. The versatile Feckley also used his feet to convert a 5-yard touchdown run that put the Eagles on top 48-7 in the third quarter.

The Mayhew to Oldenkamp connection worked one more time for the Mustangs, with Oldenkamp catching a 3-yard touchdown pass as time expired.
