The body of a missing 33-year-old Marshall man was found floating downstream from the Yukon River village, according to the Alaska State Troopers.

Paul Tinker had last been seen setting out on a boating trip in his 21-foot Carolina Skiff about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 19. The boat was found the next day about a quarter-mile down the Yukon from Marshall, troopers said. Volunteers in three boats and troopers in a plane searched for Tinker that day, followed by about 20 boats, sonar systems and dragging equipment over the next several days.

Troopers called off the official search Aug. 25 and listed Tinker as a missing person. Then, on Aug. 31, a trooper patrolling the river noticed Tinker's body floating more than a mile down river from his boat. It was sent to Anchorage for an autopsy, troopers spokeswoman Beth Ipsen said.

There were no signs of foul play, Ipsen said.
