West, Juneau triumph in tennis invitational

West and Juneau picked up victories Friday on the opening day of the Statewide Invitational at the Delaney Park Strip.

West beat West Valley 8-0 and Juneau edged Service 6-4.

Action continues Saturday with five matches. Also competing in the tournament are Dimond, Chugiak and South.
