Even some roads with sidewalks not safe enough for pedestrians

We should not be surprised at pedestrian/car accidents. The worst is mothers with children in strollers. Are the jaywalking laws ever enforced?

The roads are not built to be safe for pedestrians, either. Muldoon, Tudor and downtown are worst. I am a walker myself and even roads with paths and trails next to them can be frightening and too close to traffic. Maybe the solution would include barriers along the busiest roads and wider paths for pedestrians.
