Dimond 19, West 0

Rachel Brady caught two touchdown passes and Haley Martin rushed for one Saturday in Dimond's 19-0 blanking of West in a Cook Inlet Conference flag football game at Anchorage Football Stadium.

Brady caught a 35-yard pass from Ione Fisher, who had four pulls on defense, and a two-yarder from Tara Thompson, who completed eight of 10 passes for 83 yards.

Whitney Jackson fueled the shutout with five pulls and an interception.

The game featured the debut of Shiccia Harris at quarterback for West, and she came through with 93 passing yards, completing nine of 17 attempts, and 91 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Anna Sophia Roberts led West's defense with eight pulls and Harris added six.

Chugiak 26, Eagle River 6

Holly Brehmer was the homecoming hero for the Chugiak Mustangs on Saturday, rushing for three touchdowns in her team's 26-6 flag football victory over Eagle River.

Brehmer scored on runs of 47, 15 and 20 yards and finished with 178 yards on 15 carries.

Chugiak, which led 13-6 at the half before pulling away, got its other touchdown on a 21-yard pass from Ashleigh Sitz to Janissa Arnold.

Eagle River's lone touchdown came on a long pass but the Wolves were hurt by three interceptions, two by Sam Perez and the other by Kylie Baker.

South 24, Service 19

Sierra Mains threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Grace Connelly with 18 seconds remaining Saturday to power South to a 24-19 flag football victory over Service at rainy Anchorage Football Stadium.

It was fourth touchdown of the game for Mains, who rushed for two touchdowns and connected with Kiley Moore for a 12-yard TD pass.

Service led 13-12 at the half and was up 19-18 after scoring with 412 minutes left in the game. The Wolverines took over on their own 14-yard line and Mains guided them down the length of the field to victory.
