This is to all the people who own a home and have complained about the multiple power companies' slow response in restoring electricity.
Instead of wasting your PFD on something you don't need, use it to buy a good generator and multi-circuit transfer switch to be installed in your dwellings. You will have the necessary power for your essentials during any outage. I have had one for eight years and have only used it once, but it's there if I do need it. Stop expecting someone else to take care of you.
