Wine of the week: The Old Farm

Meanwhile, back on the old farm, a delicious-drinking red is quietly going about its business. It's called The Old Farm or La Vieille Ferme in French, and it's produced by a most famous wine making family from the slopes of Mount Ventoux in the south of France. A blend of grenache, syrah and cinsault, it's cherry/ strawberry-style fruit is nicely fleshed and spicy. It's quite kind to your pocket and perfect with the coming season's casseroles, stews and soups. Costs about $10.
