Oktoberfest Run For Beans, 7:30 a.m., Snow Goose Restaurant and Pub, 717 W. Third Ave. A 5-K and 10-K out and back course on the Coastal Trail. Proceeds will benefit Bean's Cafe and the Brother Francis Shelter. There is a 1/4 mile children's race. Runners in costume get a one minute head start. Approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard.
