The foundation of our democracy is based on the ability of citizens to freely elect who will manage their federal, state, county, borough, and municipal governments. Those who are elected take an oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States and their state from enemies both foreign and domestic. The Constitution gives citizens the right to elect their government officials.
When elected officials deprive or erect barriers against citizens to freely cast a ballot, these officials are violating their oath of office. Those who deprive a citizen the right vote are domestic enemies of democracy, as such, they are traitors to our great country.
