More than 400 nonprofits are receiving donations this month from Alaskans sharing their Permanent Fund dividends through Pick. Click. Give., administrators of the program said Friday.

A total of $2.2 million is being distributed this year -- a record amount, according to the program. More than 23,000 people designated more than 37,000 gifts. Under the program, PFD recipients can designate a portion of their dividend to one or more qualifying no-profits.
