Letter: Personal agendas get in way of honest political discussion

The problem between political parties is a biased perception issue driven by the swarm of personal agendas. One side says certain things by employing an occasional poor choice of words. The other side consistently fails to absorb the true message of what was actually said and focuses only on specific words.

Our nation will only improve when patriotic and caring voters start listening with their open hearts and pay close attention to full honest messages and then vote accordingly. The print and voice media are also at fault for this ugly widening gap in society, and they need to stop playing “gotcha” with word segments taken entirely out of context.

May God continue to bless this nation and all the unseen heroic efforts that it took to create it.
