(Anchorage, AK) - The Alaska Historical Commission will meet Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Room 1860 of the Robert B. Atwood State Office Building located at 550 West 7th Avenue in Anchorage. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Agenda items for the meeting include review of requests from Certified Local Governments for historic preservation project grants, review of three nominations to the National Register of Historic Places, review of the state geographic name guidelines, and review of four applications to name physical features in the state.
Any person or group wishing to address the members of the commission on matters relating to history, archaeology, or historic preservation is invited to participate in the 10 a.m. public comment session.
