I know Argentina is all about Malbec, but wait till you taste this cabernet sauvignon from Bodega Casarena. The textures are off the charts: big, sweet and pulpy, with black fruits, spice, herbs and tannins -- a real mouth coating experience. They use extended maceration; that's where you leave the fermenting juice and pulp sit together so it can extract all the goodness out of the skins. A lot of the expensive Bordeaux makers do that. It's time consuming and has a bit of risk involved, but let your taste buds be the judge. Costs about $20.
