Letter: Hey, politicans, try making job a priority

Since it is highly unlikely we will ever hear these words uttered by any of our elected officials, particularly members of the U.S. Congress, I will enter them here for posterity so they can be seen in print. Perhaps some members of Congress could read these words and practice their speeches:

“I will probably be a one-term member of Congress and be voted out of office because I plan to make difficult decisions and take actions that will be very unpopular with the American public. However, I am willing to sacrifice my political career and do what is right for the benefit of the country.”
