Business meetings and seminars for week of Dec. 30

WEDNESDAY

Business Planning 101 by YWCA's Women's Economic Empowerment Center, 5-9 p.m., 324 E. Fifth Ave. Effective business planning is the key to a successful business. This course takes students through the entire process of developing and planning a start-up business. This four-week course provides the necessary framework for writing a detailed business plan. Topics include business basics, market analysis, marketing strategy, basic numbers, cash and taxes. The Resource Development Council will meet for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. in the Dena'ina Convention Center.
