Letter: Tragedy tied to gun control

I have heard nothing to indicate that stricter gun control laws would have prevented that tragedy in Connecticut; however, the presence of trained shooters in the faculty and staff of the school would have prevented that tragedy. Those who inhibited and continue to inhibit such presence are the true authors of the Connecticut tragedy. The blood is on the hands of the advocates of gun control.
