Wasilla police and the FBI are looking for a man who robbed a Lucille Street bank with a box cutter on Wednesday.

The man walked into the Key Bank at 201 N. Lucille St. about 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, pushed a customer out of his way and demanded money, FBI spokesman Eric Gonzalez said. He held a box cutter, the type with a straight razor inside, and the clerk gave him cash, Gonzalez said.

Authorities are not saying how much money the man stole. He left on foot, Gonzalez said.

Mat-Su Crime Stoppers described the man as in his 20s and about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He wore a gray hood and mask and a black Carhartt jacket and pants, according to Crime Stoppers. Based on the robber’s light complexion, investigators think he might have blond or red hair, Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez said anyone with information on the bank robbery is asked to call the Wasilla Police Department at 352-5401 or the FBI at 276-4441. Anonymous tips can be delivered to Mat-Su Crime Stoppers at 745-3333 or at their website,
