Letter: Seahawks well worth watching

In response to Zack Armstrong’s letter

(Jan. 3) regarding Fox 4’s NFL coverage, I would like to make the following points.

One: In nearly every survey that I can recall, the Seattle Seahawks have ranked either #1 or a close #2 as Alaska’s favorite team.

Two: The Seahawks/Rams game also held playoff implications. Yes, the Cardinals would have had to upset the 49rs, which was unlikely. But so was Adrian Peterson’s attempt to break the single season rushing record (he finished 9 yards shy).

Three: The Seahawks this season have been far from boring. They scored over 40 points in three consecutive games and their quarterback, Russell Wilson, tied Peyton Manning’s rookie touchdown record with 26 TDs. Wilson was also named Rookie of the Month for December. Seattle’s defense allowed the fewest points scored in the league and they were the only undefeated team at home this year.

The Seahawks have been an exciting team and well worth watching. Thank you Fox 4 for your coverage.
