The UAA Department of Music will host a two-day Music-Fest January 19th & 20th 2013. The Winter Music-Fest features students from all of Alaska Band, Orchestra and Chorus festival atmospheres.
Participants will be able to study with internationally recognized faculty in master class, rehearsal and performance, hone audition skills, sight-reading and large ensemble skills alongside UAA music majors and UAA faculty culminating in a Gala Music-Fest Finale Concert.
The Music-Fest is offered for a $30.00 registration fee.
ASD high school students should ask their music teacher or private music teacher to nominate them by contacting the UAA Department of Music at 907-786-1575 or by email.
