Aero Femme donates $500 in scholarships to military academy

Ariel Talen-Keller, Mrs. Alaska United America and founder of Aero Femme Non-Profit Organization & Scholarship Fund has donated $500 for scholarships to the Alaska Military Youth Academy.  These scholarships will be awarded on March 1 to graduates at AMYA graduation.  

Keller is the founder of Aero Femme Non-Profit Organization & Scholarship Fund - a project to encourage and educate women of all ages to become involved in aviation, and to promote women's contributions to aviation. Educating the next generation of women to keep the aviation community strong, not only for general aviation but in our country’s military as well. The aviation career field is so diverse with pilots, air traffic controllers, maintainers, to safety inspectors – the opportunities are endless for women. Mrs. Keller and her organization works with national aviation groups such as the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Aircraft Owners & Pilot Association (AOPA), and Women in Aviation International (WAI). Locally, she works with EAA Chapter 42, the Alaska Military Youth Academy, the Alaska Wing Civil Air Patrol and the Alaska Aviation Museum.
