Anchorage bowler Sean Rash advanced to the final match in the Earl Anthony PBA Players Championship in Allen Park, Mich., and his showdown with Scott Norton of Mission Viejo, Calif., will air Sunday morning on ESPN.
Rash, the reigning PBA player of the year, averaged a 238 over 32 games of qualifying on four different kinds of lane conditions. That was followed by nine more games of round-robin play, after which Rash had a 41-game pinfall of 9,976, two better than Norton.
Rash will be trying for his sixth career title and his first of the 2012-13 season. The tape-delayed finals air at 8 a.m AST.
