West 54, Bartlett 47

Double-doubles from CeCe Cockerham and Chanel Bookert powered West's 54-47 Cook Inlet Conference girls basketball win over host Bartlett on Tuesday.

Cockerham posted 22 points and 12 rebounds, and Bookert recorded 10 points and 13 rebounds. Alistie Aguilar dished five assists for West, which used a 14-2 run in the third quarter to pull away.

Kierra Stokes led Bartlett with 14 points.

Dimond 73, East 38

Led by 20 point from Aminata Cole, four Dimond girls scored in double figures Tuesday, and the visiting Lynx ran away with a 73-38 CIC basketball win over East.

Cole, how made 9 of 14 field-goal attempts, added seven rebounds to match the team high gathered by Sierra Afoa, who scored 12 points. Tara Thompson chipped in 14 points for the Lynx and Karenna Liggon deposited 11.

Togafiti Manu netted 14 points and eight rebounds to lead East in both categories. Taria Page notched 11 points and seven rebounds for the Thunderbirds.

Eagle River 55, Service 14

Eagle River rolled to a big CIC win over visiting Service on Tuesday, putting away the Cougars 55-14.

Dana Panfil of Eagle River led all scorers with 14 points.

South 75, Chugiak 67

South's Taylor Murray erupted for 30 points Tuesday in a CIC girls basketball game at Chugiak High, sparking a 75-67 win over the Mustangs.

Jasmine Ashby notched 18 points for South, which also got 15 from Sabrina Ungaro.

Three players hit double-digits for Chugiak, Haley Scott scoring 15, Brandy Bookout hitting for 14 and Andrea Samaniego netting 10.

West 73, Bartlett 66

West's Deandre Wilson scored 17 points and I.K. Oghide racked a big double-double Tuesday at Bartlett, leading a 73-66 Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball win for the Eagles.

Oghide finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds, with Jhayde Zamora and Christian Nidoy each pitching in 11 points for West.

Bartlett, led by 19 points from Iziah Sherman-Newsome, put together a 14-2 run in the fourth quarter to make it close.

South 50, Chugiak 43

Jack Hobbs scored 14 of his team-high 16 points in the second half, propelling the South boys basketball team to a 50-43 CIC win over host Chugiak.

Louis Page and Zach Lujan each chipped in nine points for South, with Page pulling in nine rebounds.

Chugiak's Skyer Fullmer delivered 22 points to lead all scorers.

Dimond 85, East 76, 2 OT

Damon Cikanek nailed five 3-pointers and went off for 31 points Tuesday to lead Dimond to an 85-76 CIC boys basketball win over East in double overtime at East High.

Stanson Afoa added 16 points on 7 of 11 shooting and added 10 rebounds for the Lynx. Elijah Pili tacked on 11 points.

Desmond Johnson led the way for East, finishing with 21 points and five steals. Jarred Laws tossed in 20 points for the Thunderbirds and Xavier Johnson hit for 17.

Service 87, Eagle River 52

All eight Service players scored Tuesday in the Cougars' 87-52 CIC boys basketball win over host Eagle River.

Reece Robinson and Marques Robinson led the charge for Service, scoring 23 and 14 points, respectively. Denandre Lampkin and Irho Raguindin each kicked in 11 for the Cougars and Adam Klie added 10.

Shaquan Rhoades led Eagle River with 20 points.

Eagle River 83, Bartlett 75 OT

Shaquan Rhoades poured in 29 points and Eric Roberts added 24 Monday to help Eagle River subdue Bartlett 83-75 in overtime Monday in Eagle River.

The Cook Inlet Conference boys basketball game was tied 69-69 after regulation.

Rhoades and Nick Montgomery both nailed 3-pointers to help the Wolves outscore Bartlett 14-6 in overtime.

Andre White sparked Eagle River on the boards with a team-high eight rebounds, while Bartlett got 22 points from Iziah Sherman-Newsome and 20 from B.J. McCoy.
