AACCC Adoption of the Week: Meet Blacky

Courtesy AACCC

Here's Anchorage Animal Care and Control's Adoption of the Week, courtesy of Brooke Taylor, AACCC public relations coordinator.

Here is Blacky, a 16 year old, neutered male, domestic longhair mix cat. Blacky is quite people-experienced and has lots of love to share. He’s a great example of the great benefits that come with adopting an older pet. He has previously lived happily with young children from infants to 5 years, other cats and would play with the family pooch. Blacky has an independent side, but is mostly content to find a cozy spot to nap or observe his surroundings — though any petting and attention is very much enjoyed! This gentle fellow is generally quiet, though can be talkative when he has something to communicate. He’ll relax in your arms when held and cuddled as well. Very handsome with his “lion cut” hairdo and so sweet! Blacky can be adopted for $62, as he is already neutered, which includes his vaccinations and microchip. Call 343-8122 for more information.

Adoption update: Hugo has been adopted :)
