In a Feb. 9 Compass piece a group of Alaska state legislators wrote: “We use and enjoy semi-automatic rifles every day for hunting, sport and self defense.”
Every day?! Do they have that much free time for hunting and sport? Aren’t they supposed to be busy working on legislation or something? And for self-defense, every day?! Holy cow, who or what is after them? Have they called the troopers for protection? Just what is (and is not) going on in our capital city?
