Fairbanks Community Behavioral Health Center Executive Selected for National Executive Leadership Program
National Council for Behavioral Health Names Group “28 to Watch”
Kelly Shanklin, Executive Director was selected among hundreds of applicants from across the country to participate in a new national Executive Leadership Program of the National Council for Behavioral Health.
“In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, behavioral health executives face a unique set of challenges,” said National Council President and CEO Linda Rosenberg. “The National Council is committed to equipping these leaders with the right tools and skills to ensure their organizations survive — but thrive — in the new healthcare marketplace.”
The 28 executives selected for this program represent some of the greatest leaders of community mental health and addictions organizations in the nation. During the 10-month program, they will perfect their leadership and management skills through coaching, training and performance improvement with the goal of improving the behavioral healthcare field’s leaders by preparing them to thrive as the American healthcare system continues to transform and to ante up behavioral healthcare field’s role in healthcare decision-making.
