Unalaska police blotter

Assault – Brother called to report his inebriated sibling had attacked him with a cane. Officers responded to the residence and a witness said no assault had occurred.

Welfare Check – Inebriated brother called to report that something was wrong with his inebriated sibling. Officers responded to the residence and were told that a pretty woman was doing things with his sibling.

Assistance Rendered – Inebriated brother called to report his inebriated sibling had told him to shut up. Officers responded to the residence and found the two were arguing about a pretty woman.

Animal – Dead eagle.

Animal – Dead fox.

Environmental – Man reported seeing a homeowner throw his trash down a hillside, and refuse to pick it up when confronted with his misbehavior. The suspect was not home when police attempted to contact him later, but another resident agreed to clean up the man’s mess.

Suspicious Person/Activity – A driver, whom officers thought they recognized as someone with whom they needed to speak, parked quickly and ran away near the CEM boat harbor.  Officers were unable to find the suspect driver that night, but did determine he was not the person for whom they had been looking.
