The first episode of "American Idol's" semifinal round aired Tuesday night, with the top 10 women performing in Las Vegas. Among them was Anchorage teen Adriana Latonio, who performed Destiny Child's "Stand Up for Love."

While Latonio earned praise from the judges previously when they selected her as one of the 10 best female vocalists in the competition, the panel, which includes Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj, Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey, seemed less enthusiastic Tuesday. "I would suggest you work a little bit and come back next year," offered Minaj before addressing the crowd's reaction to her criticism: "If y'all keep on booing, I'm just going to keep on talking."

Perhaps lucky for Latonio, the judges don't choose the five finalists who move on to the finals. Viewers voted for their favorites in a poll that's now closed. The top 10 men perform in Wednesday's episode, which airs 7 p.m. on Fox. The finalists will be announced on Thursday's episode, 7 p.m.
