Uncle indicted in fatal stabbing of nephew

A grand jury indicted an Anchorage man Monday in the March 7 stabbing of his 23-year-old nephew.

Donald Leroy Williams, 49, faces one count of second-degree murder, according to the indictment. Police say he stabbed Henry Ningeok once in the chest after a night of heavy drinking at an East Anchorage mobile home.

Williams is expected to appear in Anchorage Superior Court on Wednesday. His recent criminal history includes convictions for assault in 2006 and 2008.
