As an involved youth who has been studying a legislative bill, House Bill 96, Toxic Chemicals in Children’s Products, I believe that all children’s products should be toxin-free to ensure a healthier next generation and form a better future. Children should be allowed to play in a safe environment, and consumers deserve the right to know what products will harm them and which ones will not.
I love Alaska and I wish to someday raise my children here, but I worry about doing so if the state doesn’t pass this bill. Alaskans should urge our Legislature to pass this bill to ensure the safety and health of future generations.
