Letter: Railbelt pipeline would be better

OK, I get it. Alaska’s resources belong to industry and we should pay them more to access it? If the governor says we should, we must!

Of course as a peon of the land I’m not as trusting, and my vote is for a gas pipeline, which benefits the Alaska people best. Maybe a pipeline through the Railbelt, which could help heat more homes for many years into the future, provide a cleaner source of fuel for Fairbanks while improving their air quality and start a process which would eliminate $10 a gallon fuel oil in the Bush?

And … that same pipeline could include a natural gas pump station at Delta Junction for use if the Canadian giveaway ever produces a viable conduit to America.
