I agree with the March 30 Compass piece dubbing Ernie Hall an asset to the community. It is rare to see someone in a place of influence act with such balance and restraint toward our community's best interests. Ernie Hall is prudent, objective and fair. He takes the long view and works diligently as a community organizer to get important work done. And he does it without grandstanding, but because it matters. At the same time, kudos to Nick Moe: I applaud his interest and principles and want to see more people like him in Anchorage.
