Yesterday's election was a terrific victory for young, realistic progressives. What I believe Mayor Sullivan and his ilk don't understand is that homeowners like me do not view taxes as inherently bad. We would love to provide the municipality more money in return for better living and working conditions for all our citizens. I don't want to see services cut to meet the constraints of the budget, I want to see the budget increased to sufficiently fund the desired level of services.
Increase revenue through taxation, and use the money to make Anchorage a better place to live.
