Service 3, Eagle River 0

A deep strike from senior Adam Klie in the first half put the Service boys soccer team on the road to a 3-0 win over Eagle River in a Cook Inlet Conference match at The Dome on Wednesday.

The Cougars maintained a 1-0 lead until halftime, with freshman Brady Graff and junior Ihro Raguindin adding second-half goals. Raguindin scored on a break away in the closing minutes to cap the victory.

Sophomore Jacob Andrews tended goal for the Cougars, who improved to 3-1-0. Eagle River dropped to 0-4-0.

Dimond 9, Bartlett 0

Powered by five goals and an assist from sophomore Jack Sedor, the Dimond boys soccer team blasted Bartlett 9-0 in a Cook Inlet Conference match Tuesday at the Dome.

Trask Shamburg, Matt Cerveny, Andrew Glover and Ian Wilber all added goals for the defending state champion Lynx, who improved to 3-1-0. Bartlett fell to 0-4-0.

Sedor is dominating the pitch so far this season, accounting for 10 of Dimond's 18 goals.

"He's been on fire," said first-year Dimond coach Barat Killian.
