Fundraiser launched to create scholarship in honor of Keri Schroeder

An internet based fundraiser has been set up in order to raise money in memory of Keri Schroeder who lost a battle with breast cancer in June of 2012. Money raised in this campaign will be used to provide annual talent scholarships in Keri's honor through the Miss Alaska Foundation.

Keri began as a contestant in local pageants, winning the title of Miss Chugiak-Eagle River in 1988. She held several titles including Miss Anchorage and Miss Alaska 1992. After the completion of her year of service as Miss Alaska, she continued to volunteer with the program as producer, mentor, board member, and judge. 

The Keri Schroeder scholarship will be awarded at the June 29th, 2013 Miss Alaska Pageant.  A link to the fundraiser can be found at:
