Alinen promoted at Denali alaskan
Anchorage – T.J. Alinen was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union. In this role, he is responsible for planning, organizing and directing all aspects of Human Resources in the areas of policy administration, employment, training and development, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration.
Alinen is a graduate of Wayland Baptist University and holds a Master of Business Administration degree. He is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resources Certification Institute. He has also been a volunteer instructor/facilitator for the PHR and SPHR exam preparation program through SHRM of Greater Tucson.
Before joining the Credit Union in 2012, Alinen held many and varied human resources positions. Early in his career, he was responsible for recruitment and volunteer services for the City of Sierra Vista in Arizona. Later career highlights include payroll/benefits administration and a role as a senior analyst.
Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union is the third largest credit union in Alaska, with more than 56,000 members and assets in excess of $500 million. The Credit Union's 18 branches are located in Anchorage, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai and Wasilla.
