F. Robert Bell and Associates hires two

ANCHORAGE, AK – April 24, 2013 – F. Robert Bell and Associates (BELL) is pleased to announce that Ronald Goughnour, P.E., PMP (Project Management Professional) has been hired as senior civil engineer responsible for project management. The company also hired Zachary Huff as junior civil engineer.

Goughnour has more than 23 years in planning, design, project and engineering practice management with federal, state, municipal and private clients. He is a registered civil engineer in Alaska and Washington and his project development experience covers all phases, including planning, design and construction. The majority of his career has focused on providing technical expertise for varying types of urban and rural roadway and intersection/interchange projects ranging in size up to $3 million in design fees.

BELL is a wholly Alaskan-owned consulting firm providing complete design, engineering, surveying, and construction management services to federal, state, and local governments as well as the private sector, industries, and individuals. With a staff of more than 100 engineers, surveyors, technicians, and support personnel, BELL has provided utility engineering, transportation and environmental engineering, land-use planning and development, oil field site facilities engineering, and land and construction surveying since 1974.

Huff has more than 10 years of construction experience specifying in utility trades. He has successfully completed his Fundamentals of Engineering exam in April of 2010 and graduated from the University of Alaska, Anchorage with a Bachelors of Science Civil Engineering, cum laude. Huff is a member of the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program and a steward of the Communication Workers of America.
