RIM Architects adds two design staff; promotes an Associate to Principal

Tim Ridenour, AIA NCARB, has been promoted from Associate to Principal of RIM Architects. Tim has 19 years of experience in both architectural design and general contracting, enabling him to excel in project coordination from design through construction. Since joining RIM in 2004, Tim has established himself as a proficient project architect and project manager, providing services for RIM projects including the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center, several projects for Providence Alaska Medical Center, and new Target stores in Anchorage and Wasilla. He has also led the firm in exploration and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology across the footprint of the firm's four offices. Tim earned a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from Montana State University and is a Registered Architect in Alaska. RIM Architects is pleased to include him in the ownership group of Principals.

Brian Stump, AIA, has rejoined RIM Architects after being away from the firm for three years, during which he worked for Lumen Design, specializing in residential projects. Previously, Brian worked for RIM Architects for five years as an intern-architect, making significant contributions to projects such as the Alaska Dance Theatre, CITC-Non-Profit Center, and 14-story JL Tower. Brian earned his professional architecture license during his time away from RIM, and is now a Registered Architect in Alaska. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Washington State University. RIM looks forward to utilizing Brian's residential design expertise and is thrilled to have him back with the firm.

Matt Geserick has joined RIM Architects as a Level I Design Assistant. Matt earned a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Idaho. He participated in the Study Abroad Program, interning at a studio in Rome, Italy, and also served internships at architectural and construction firms prior to joining RIM. He is pursuing professional architectural registration while assisting with various design projects at RIM.
