Anchorage woman arrested in Fairview stabbing

An Anchorage woman is charged with assault in a stabbing Thursday morning in Fairview.

Joanna Jordan-Robinson, 56, stabbed a man in his midsection during a domestic disturbance at a home in the 1500 block of LaTouche Street about 9:10 a.m., an Anchorage police spokeswoman said. The man, whom police did not identify, was expected to survive, the spokeswoman said.

Medics took the man to a local hospital. Police officers took Jordan-Robinson into custody, questioned her, then arrested her on a charge of second-degree assault, police said.

Further details of what happened weren't immediately available.
