It was very sad to see KHAR music station change over to sports only. They not only played great music, but also had a really good weekend program, especially in the evening.
After listening to it for 30 years, I was very sorry and disappointed to see it go. Every bigger city has at least one station like that — too bad Anchorage can't do it. There are still a lot of us radio fans out there that love the "oldies" and voices like Streisand, Diamond, Manilow and Tony Bennett.
