The UAA athletic department is the subject of an NCAA investigation, the school's athletic director said Friday.
Athletic director Steve Cobb said the school self-reported an incident and expects a resolution shortly.
He would not say which of the university's 11 sports program is being investigated or what the nature of the problem is.
An NCAA spokeswoman on Friday said confidentiality rules put in place by member schools prohibits the NCAA from commenting on current, pending or potential investigations.
