Children's Lunchbox gears up for summer meals

Anchorage – The Children's Lunchbox, a program of Bean's Café, has been serving hungry children since 1998. With summer here, it's time to think about keeping children eating healthy while school is out. The Children's Lunchbox provides free meals to children during the summer. Any child up to and including age 18 can come and eat. This summer, meals will be served at;

Goose Lake Park, 2811 UAA Drive, Monday-Friday, noon-1 p.m.

Muldoon Community Assembly 7041 Debarr Rd., Monday-Friday, noon-1 p.m.

St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 825 Klevin St., Monday-Friday from Noon-1 p.m.

North East Community Center/Boys & Girls Club, 1251 Muldoon Rd., Monday-Friday; Lunch Noon; dinner, 4:30 p.m.

Alaska Youth Advocates, 700 W. 6th Ave., Monday-Friday, noon-1 p.m.
