PDC Engineers hires two

Fairbanks, AK – June 7, 2013 – PDC Inc. Engineers is pleased to announce that Valerie Webb and Victor Apodaca, PE have joined the firm working from PDC's Fairbanks office.

Serving as a Senior Civil Engineer, Apodaca brings over 29 years of experience in the design and project management of airfields, roadways, as well commercial and industrial sites. He received his B.S. Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a registered civil engineer in Alaska as well as three other states. Prior to joining PDC, Apodaca worked for another local design firm and also served as a civilian contractor that was embedded with the 401st AFSB providing design and inspection services on Army bases throughout Afghanistan.

Webb will serve as PDC's Lead Environmental Analyst. She has over 13 years of experience, most recently involving environmental coordination in the gold exploration industry. Prior to that, she worked for a local environmental consulting firm performing a range of environmental duties including oil spill response planning, compliance investigations, and monitoring of contaminated sites across Alaska. She is also skilled with the application of GIS which will complement PDC's extensive work in that area.
