Wine of the week: 2010 Catena Cabernet

Fathers Day is just around the corner and, for me, that means cabernet sauvignon. One of the very best deals out there is the 2010 from Catena. The high altitude Argentine vineyards that Nicolas put in are the envy of the planet. Decant, if you can, and smell the beautiful cabernet leaf and deep blue/ black fruit. The mouth is delicious, sturdy and mildly tannic. A bottle of Catena Cabernet and a big, juicy steak. I can't think of a better Father's Day. Costs about $25.
